Library Instruction

Our librarians will work with you to create customized library instruction to meet your students' educational needs.  Librarian-taught sessions provide students with the information literacy skills needed to conduct academic research, using high quality print and web based resources.

To schedule a session:

Course Guides

Created at your request, Course Guides are customized online research guides to relevant library resources for your course, accessible via the library website.  For examples, see:

This form can be completed online to request a Library Instruction session for your class.

  •  Two-week advance notice is preferred; a minimum of one week is required (except for tours)
  •  Location of instruction will be determined through discussion with the librarian scheduling the session.    Customized content will also be discussed with the librarian.
