Our librarians will work with you to create customized library instruction to meet your students' educational needs. Librarian-taught sessions provide students with the information literacy skills needed to conduct academic research using high quality, authoritative resources.

Created at your request, Course Guides are customized online research guides that provide relevant library resources for your courses. To access Course Guides, click on the Course Guides tab on the Library homepage. For examples, see:

This form can be completed online to request a Library Instruction session for your class.

Notes:

  •  Two-week advance notice is preferred. A minimum of one week is required (except for tours).
  •  Location of instruction will be determined through discussion with the librarian scheduling the session.
  •  Computer labs are highly recommended and can be scheduled via Astra Scheduling in MyCCAC.
  •  Customized content will also be discussed with the librarian.
