Blackboard Learn Ultra's new AI was all the chatter on Thursday, August 24 at the Learn Ultra User group session. Dr. Szymon Machajewski, Associate Director of Learning Technologies & Instructional Innovation at the University of Illinois Chicago inspired the group. AI Design Assistant: Let Complexity Work for You, presentation shared his experience "tinkering" with Ultra's AI tools and features. Szymon discussed the AI timeline from 2018, ethical approaches to trustworthy AI, context complexity, prompt engineering, answered questions, and provided a live demo of the new AI tool.
