Review the three table sections of this document. Carefully set and confirm the settings as described in the table rows for each exam, test, and quiz. Important note: After setting Test Availability Exceptions in Bb, wait for the exam to export to Examity and then, in Examity, add the Exam Window dates/times to reflect as set in Bb (if the dates are missing). Students are the focus of the troubleshooting guide but much of the content is applicable for faculty as well. Faculty should be familiar with student the student Examity experience and technical requirements.

This six-minute video describes how faculty can review the results of Examity proctoring sessions. The video includes details for checking any indications from Examity auditors (Red Flags) that may indicate attempted cheating and how to view video of student's exam attempts.

- Examity Test-Taker System Requirements and System Check (New Examity Platform)
CCAC uses the New Examity Platform The following are system requirements for all test-takers using Examity:
- Operating System: macOS X 10.5 or higher, Windows Vista or higher, ChromeOS. Examity does not support Linux
- Browser: Google Chrome – please disable your pop-up blocker.
- Hardware: Desktop, laptop, or Chromebook (tablets and mobile devices are not supported)
– Built-in or external webcam
– Built-in or external microphone
– Built-in or external speakers - Internet: A required upload and download speed of 2Mbps, with 10Mbps preferred. Hot spots are not recommended.

- Use the help built-in to each Blackboard course. To access Examity, click the Examity link in your Bb course where you can:
- Set up your profile in Examity (takes 10 minutes – see the tutorial video after accessing Examity)
- Have your student ID ready to complete your profile
- Complete the System Check to make sure your computer is Examity Ready
- Access your exams – Use the Examity link in your Blackboard site
- Begin exams that utilize automated proctoring
- Schedule an appointment for an exam requiring live proctoring

- Chrome is the only browser that can be used with Examity
