     Breaking Ground

        Hollywood and the Yellow Threat

This documentary dives in to the ugly truth of how Hollywood, misrepresented the Asian Community and manipulated the public into believing that the Asian Community were villains. This was solidified when the United States entered WWII and more than 110,000 Japanese citizens were placed in Interment camps.

 

              The Chinese Exclusion Act

"Examine the origin, history and impact of the 1882 law that made it illegal for Chinese workers to come to America and for Chinese nationals already here ever to become U. S. citizens."
