Historical Madness is an eclectic collection of mysteries, oddities, and haunting stories within Western Pennsylvania, neighboring West Virginia, and the Great Lakes. I have included some of these stories in my oral presentations that I have given over the past several years at libraries, community centers and Starbucks coffee house. Some stories may be known to local readers in part, while others are totally unknown. I enjoy revealing these stories to the reader. Stories that have been explored include the writing of a young boy who was electrocuted, he was called Green Man, to a group of miners that clashed with local law enforcement over union representation. A story about the life of Lobster Boy, who was a murderer. I also wrote about Madame Maria Curie, who discovered Radium and Polonium. She secretly used a local factory to explore uranium, which impacted a local community years later. EDWARD BONNER is an author with a passion for poetry as well as historical works.
