This guide will provide examples of how to cite common sources in MLA, APA, and Chicago style, and has handouts for each you can download and print! You can also find print copies of our handouts in each of our library locations.

This online resource provides many examples of how to cite in MLA, APA, and Chicago style. This website even provides sample papers you can refer to to review how to format your assignment.

NoodleTools

NoodleTools is an online tool for creating reference lists. Use it with MLA, APA, or Chicago styles. It helps you create your citations, and generates your bibliography. Create folders and store citations for multiple projects. CCAC provides NoodleTools to current students, faculty and staff. Email library@ccac.edu if you have any questions.

Tools in databases

Many of the Library Databases provide Citation assistance for the articles. In the Tools area located on the Detailed Record page and the Article page, look for features like "Cite" or "Cite Now!" Click here to see an example.

Make sure to double check the citation has the correct formatting, punctuation, and content!
