This guide will show the basics for citing sources and formatting research projects in accordance with MLA, APA and Chicago style manuals for the Allegheny Campus Research Workshops.

Chicago Style

Chicago Manual of Style Chicago style is sometimes used for history and the humanities. Chicago style uses superscript numbers within the text to refer readers to corresponding footnotes at the end of the page. A bibliography is generally required as wel​l.
