 Explain why it is important to keep an open mind when conducting research


When conducting academic research, keep in mind that you will most likely not be doing scavenger hunt research—searching for a specific answer to a specific question. You are more likely going to have to conduct more exploration research—searching through unfamiliar information in order to learn more about it.
