At CCAC, we review our programs and disciplines in four-year cycles to reflect on:
Program review is an opportunity to show the best parts of your program and formally request support to improve the other parts. Like all components of assessment, program review exists for continuous improvement of student learning. Program review is a requirement of the State of Pennsylvania as well as our regional accreditor, Middle States.
At CCAC, program assessment is a four year cycle. Program objectives are set and assessed annually. Four years of annual assessment and / or integrated assessment data form the foundation of Program Review. Curriculum maps are used to align course outcomes, program objectives, and general education goals.
